The ground floor of the shop is accessible for wheelchair users, but our first floor is unfortunately not accessible.
The entrance to the shop is level and accessible for wheelchair users. We normally have the doors open, but if they are shut and you need us to open them for you, we have a bell to ring on the left of the door.
The ground floor, where we keep children’s books, general fiction and new titles, is wheelchair accessible. There is one large table and two smaller tables that we can move out of the way if needed.
Up one flight of stairs (8 steps) we have our London section, including maps and a variety of guides and non-fiction books about the city.
The first floor, where we keep most non-fiction, travel, crime, horror, sci-fi, fantasy and romance, is up two flights of stairs, each with 8 steps. We can help if you would like books from upstairs – we can bring books down or take photos of the shelves for you to look through. Do feel free to ask us at any point if you would like assistance.
You can always call or email if you have any other questions about accessibility!
