Who would not want to rock out, especially if they had a Flying V guitar in imperial purple? Frida the Rock and Roll Moth is ready to take her place in the world of rock, but suddenly worries that perhaps she will not shine as she had hoped…
This is an excellent book about the challenge of finding your confidence, when you’re worried that you aren’t good enough or won’t fit in. A sensitive, funny and sweet picture book from the author of Riverside favourite Gretel the Wonder Mammoth, this manages to convey a useful message without being preachy.
Frida’s supportive aunt tells her that she needs to be herself, but sometimes you have to find things out for yourself. A lovely book, already a bestseller here.
